Relic's Bio

Relic Entertainment is a full service record label and recording studio based in Lakewood, California. Relic has been working with artist of all calibers for the last 8 years. Relic works in all genre of music with a focus in Hip Hop, R & B and Alternative. Relic Entertainment is the brainchild of Damion “G-Flow” Smith. G-Flow prides himself on making original musical compositions that can be used in a variety of ways. G-Flow’s music has appeared in both TV and radio commercials as well as background at a variety of live shows. G-Flow takes pride in making original compositions and most are all original music done in his personal studio, The G-Spot.

Relic has decided to jump in the music industry and show the rest of the country what the west has to offer. Following suit with recent west coast summit, Relic hopes to blaze a new trail from the west to the future!

Does “magic” really happen in the studio? It does for the innovative record producer Damion Smith aka G-Flow. The 10-year studio veteran of underground and Indie Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Alternative and Pop artist believes in making music in the studio, not beats.

G-Flow’s success is grounded in his “studio based artist development”. He has a passion to push the artist to new levels of perfection and creativity. To actually bring to life the music that artist need and the fans deserve.

G-Flow’s philosophies comes from the understanding that once an artist is educated in the studio and empowered, they will remember and once again embrace the belief that music has a very personal or human connection versus something manufactured. The artist will feel it and so will the fans. It is this foundation that unleashes the creative power of the individual artist to explore new ideas, which G-Flow has been not only able to record but produce on a regular basis.

So does “magic” actually happen in the studio? It does if you can provide the artist with an imaginative and musical force that can move them far beyond their current or future expectations.
